The resort we stayed at was called Lazy Day The Resort and the name perfectly reflected how we felt. The same tree and swing had so many different looks all through the day. I was in love with the trees here. Mainly this one. “Trees are poems that the earth writes upon the sky.” ? Khalil Gibran.

The light and shadows made everything look different as the time passed. In our busy schedules we forget to retrospect and this was that perfect day of retrospection.

“At the beach, life is different. Time doesn’t move hour to hour but mood to moment. We live by the currents, plan by the tides, and follow the sun.” – Sandy Gingras

We found this shell embedded in the sand in the resort. Nothing screams beach vacations louder than seashells posing for photos.

“Seashells are proof that nothing is ever really empty. The rush of the immortal wind whispers it’s secrets to those who stop to listen.” Anonymous

The beach at this resort was absolutely gorgeous and you don’t really feel like you are lazing around with all the nooks to explore. The water was clear and we could watch fish underwater while kayaking or just walking around in the water.

I still did my fair share of sea-gazing without doing much the whole day. It was absolutely glorious. We were all a bit sad after being told snorkeling was not safe, since it was raining on and off and there were jelly fish washing up to the shore. But doing nothing was the second best thing.

The kids were playing in the sea all day and the water was absolutely calm. Spotting fish and urchin’s was a regular game for them. We ordered food at the restaurant to eat at the sala, whenever we got hungry. Thai food was available and tasted divine.

The setting sun brought with it a whole new palette of colors before bathing the gorgeous island in moonlight.

Some more colors of the late afternoon.
